First Watch plans to open in Blue Springs by the end of the year.

The company-owned location will be in a new multi-tenant building at 1077 S.W. Missouri 7, in the White Oak Marketplace. It will have about 25 employees.

First Watch, based in Bradenton, Fla., is a breakfast, brunch and lunch operation offering such items as breakfast tacos, lemon ricotta pancakes, Belgian waffles, French toast, omelets, sandwiches and salads, avocado toast, pesto chicken quinoa bowls, skillet hash, and biscuits and turkey sausage gravy with eggs.

First Watch has more than 320 restaurants in 29 states, including 11 in the metro and one in Lawrence.

It recently relocated its Overland Park restaurant to 9102 Metcalf Ave.

White Oak Marketplace opened in late 2017. Tenants include an 85,000-square-foot Price Chopper and a Johnny's Tavern. Verizon also plans to open in the multi-tenant building.
