Verizon and Comcast cross-selling services

Verizon Wireless and Comcast have begun selling each other’s services in the Kansas City market and offering rebates to customers who sign up for both.

Verizon struck a similar partnership with Time Warner Cable earlier this spring. The two cable companies generally don’t compete for customers.

The cross-selling began Monday at three Verizon stores in the Kansas City area along with five other markets.
