The contest will select one high school artist’s work to be put on display at the Capitol building in Washington.

“Last year's entries were magnificent, and I expect this year's entries will be just as great,” Tiahrt said in a statement.
Entry categories including painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, prints, photography and computer-generated art.
In addition to having artwork displayed at the Capitol for a year, the winning teen will be given the option of selling his or her work to the Wichita Independent Business Association for $500, or retaining the rights to the work and receiving a $200 prize.
Judging will take place April 9 at the WIBA office at 445 N. Waco, Wichita.

Entrants should deliver their artwork to the WIBA office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. from March 29 to April 1.
