Now, a more positive note about All-Star 5k

I wrote just a few minutes ago about the negative aspects of this morning's All-Star 5k runMore positively:More than 5,400 people ran in the charity race, and about 2,000 had signed up, making this a huge fundraiser for worthy cancer-related causes.Second, along the course and at the end, the volunteers were tremendous. They had water at three stops along the 5k route. The fire hydrants were turned on at two spots. And the water, Gatorade, bananas, muffins and other goodies at the end hit the spot for the thousands of runners. Yael T. AbouhalkahEditorial page columnist
