Sound stations bring back legendary moments in baseball

From Lou Gherig's famous 1939 farewell speech to David Freese's Game 6 walkoff home run in the 2011 World Series, visitors can hear what it was like to experience great moments in baseball history as they happened.

Sound stations around the special exhibition in the lobby of the museum play clips of broadcasts for listeners. Each station has accompanying photographs for the sound bytes.

This station has a clip of Dane Iorg's crucial single to right field in Game 6 of the 1985 World Series, which ultimately led the Royals to victory against the Cardinals. The photograph is of the team celebrating after the game.
