Munday on Monday | Medicine cabinet

Medicine cabinet

As guest in someone’s

home, I’ll put my

manners to the fore

Except to use your

restroom, when I see

that little door.

The cabinet for medicine,

it beckons on the walls;

I know I shouldn’t sneak

a peek, but somehow

yet it calls.

I hope I’m not too curious,

to speculate or judge

This door which quite

by accident I manage

now to nudge.

Your privacy? Important,

which I surely won’t

But as it swings, the mirror

reflects the image

of the perp.

And then I’m looking

inside at the mystery

Astonishing that aspirin

is lurking so concealed!
