Sunny skies, highs in the mid-50s, and light winds are in the forecast for Wichita today – not bad at all for December.
Winds will be out of the north, forecasters say, but they should stay in the single digits. Overnight lows will slide into the upper 20s, with winds shifting around to the south-southeast.
Those winds will intensify on Friday, forecasters say, gusting at times to 25 miles an hour. Skies will remain sunny, with highs climbing into the upper 50s.
Winds will remain gusty Friday night and Saturday, forecasters say.
