The farmhouse ale boasts “mild grapefruit notes” and “classic, floral pepperiness, according the magazine.
Men’s Journal added that Tank 7 “drinks easily” — maybe too easily.
“We’d discourage using any farm equipment after quaffing this 8.5-percent alcohol monster.”
It’s not exactly local, but Bière du Pays, a barrel-aged Belgian saison produced by Side Project Brewing in St. Louis, is featured alongside Tank 7 on Men’s Journal’s list.
Fun fact: Tank 7 is the beer that Boulevard sent Brooklyn Brewery after winning a World Series bet last year.
