Renee Kelly is officially out of the running to be the next “Top Chef” — but there’s another Kansas City connection coming up on the award-winning Bravo show.

A Season 13 preview video on bravotv.com features a glimpse of the California wedding of Eric Aufdengarten and Joe Nadeau. Nadeau, the former artistic director of Kansas City’s Heartland Men’s Chorus, moved to Los Angeles last year and is now working as the artistic director and conductor of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles.

Nadeau says that he and Aufdengarten, a Kansas native, were married on the show along with other same-sex couples.

“All of you will cater a big wedding reception,” host Padma Lakshmi tells the “cheftestants” in the preview.

“More like a big, fat gay wedding,” adds guest chef Art Smith, former personal chef to Oprah Winfrey.

Nadeau signed a non-disclosure agreement with Bravo, so he couldn’t get into specifics about the big day — but he did say that the food was “fabulous.”

“It was just fantastic,” he said. “A really fun event.”

He says he’s not sure when the wedding will appear on “Top Chef,” which airs at 9 p.m. Thursdays on Bravo. For more info on upcoming episodes, go to bravotv.com/top-chef.
