It’s time to break out your 2015 calendars, beer lovers.
The Boulevard Brewing Co. has unveiled its 2015 beer release schedule, and it’s full of brand-new brews. Among them:
The Kansas City brewery is adding a new year-round beer called Heavy Lifting IPA in April. The hoppy beer will join other year-round beers such as Unfiltered Wheat, Pale Ale, KC Pils, Single-Wide IPA and Pop-Up Session IPA.
Boulevard also will add an IPA called The Calling to its line of year-round Smokestack Series beers, which includes Tank 7 Farmhouse Ale, Dark Truth Stout and The Sixth Glass.

There will be three additions to Boulevard’s core seasonal beers lineup, which includes Irish Ale, Bob’s ’47 Oktoberfest and Nutcracker Ale. Spring Belle Saison will be available March-April, Funky Pumpkin is scheduled for release September-October, and Snow and Tell will be on shelves November-December. Also: Ginger-Lemon Radler returns April-August, and Hibiscus Gose will be availabe in May and June.
The list of Smokestack Series specialty releases includes two sour beers (Love Child No. 5 in May and Love Child No. 6 in December), a collaboration beer to be announced in July, and four releases of Imperial Stout X, in February, June, September and December. Imperial Stout X — Coffee comes out in February and Imperial Stout X — Rum comes out in June. The September and December Imperial Stout X releases are TBD.
Fans of Chocolate Ale will be happy to know that the wildly popular beer returns in February. Other returning Smokestack Series specialty beers include Rye-On-Rye in September, Bourbon Barrel Quad in November and Saison-Brett in April.
Notably absent from Boulevard’s 2015 brewing schedule: Boss Tom’s Golden Bock, Harvest Dance Wheat Wine, Two Jokers Double-Wit, Nommo Dubbel, Reverb Imperial Pilsner, Lunar Ale and Double-Wide IPA. The brewery confirmed on Facebook that those beers won’t be produced in 2015.
