Folks, you have just over an hour left to get your free Taco Bell A.M. Crunchwrap courtesy of Royals outfielder Lorenzo Cain.
Taco Bell is making good on its deal announced during the World Series: If someone steals a base during Game 1, then the fast-food restaurant would offer free Crunchwraps on Nov. 5.
That someone happened to be Cain, who stole second base in the sixth inning.
Thursday morning, it seemed the #StealaBreakfast campaign was a hit, evidenced by long drive-through lines at Taco Bells around the city. A look at Twitter shows some waited as long as 2 hours for the free wrap.
You have until 11 a.m. to get the free wrap (one per person), which is a pan-fried soft tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, a hash brown, cheddar cheese and either sausage or bacon.
