5:30 p.m. Monday (June 17):

Urban Grown Kickoff at Kansas City’s central library. A variety of voices speak about urban farming in our city. No ticket fee, but RSVP required on the library’s website.

5-9 p.m. Tuesday: Bread! KC PLUG Projects Eventbrite.
All day Tuesday: here. 7 p.m. Thursday: Eventbrite. Noon-1:30 p.m. Friday: Eventbrite. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday:

Self-guided tours of urban farms in Kansas City. Tickets are $8 for individuals or $20 for families. Tickets are valid both days, but some sites are open only one day. Many sites will have cooking demos by local chefs, live music and learning activities. There are also bus and bike tours for those who want to go green.
