If you are looking for inspiration for your backyard veggie patch or your neighborhood community garden, you might want to plan a trip to Lawrence Saturday.
From 9 a.m. to noon and 5 to 8 p.m., 18 gardens will be open for self-guided tours within the city limits.
The gardens in the Lawrence Food Garden Tour range from small personal gardens to well-established community gardens to small-scale market and commercial gardens.
At each location, gardeners will be on hand to give tours and answer questions.
