Carlo’s Copa Room has closed in Lenexa after seven years.
The Italian restaurant originally opened in a freestanding building in midtown in mid-2004. Carlo and Lenae Cammisano and Carlo’s mother, Kathy Fiorello, then relocated to 14944 W. 87th St. Parkway, in the Hen House Marketplace. Carlo’s offered such items as veal Parmesan, manicotti, diablo lasagna, and Sunday fried chicken dinners.
The owners couldn’t be reached for comment.
John Rubenstein of Rubenstein Real Estate Co., leasing agent for the center, said the 5,000-square-foot restaurant space is now for lease.
