Last night Royals fans partied like it was 1985 after the Kansas City team beat the White Sox and clinched a spot in the playoffs.

Now they have something else to celebrate: Westport Flea Market is offering 1985 prices on burgers.

The bar and grill at 817 Westport Road is discounting its Mini Market burger from $7.99 to $2.99 for as long as the Royals are in the playoffs.

The 1/3-pound burger is made with ground chuck from McGonigle’s Market and served with a side of curly fries.

Manager Vicki Deckard says customers have to say “1985” when they order the burger to get the Blue October discount.

If the Mini Market isn’t enough for you, order the Super Flea, a five-patty burger topped with bacon and cheese and served with two pounds of fries. The behemoth burger costs $39 — but it’s free if you finish the meal in 30 minutes or less.
