The organizers of Boulevardia have announced that the annual Kansas City street festival is returning for a fifth year in 2018.
The two-day beer-centric fest is scheduled for Friday, June 15 and Saturday, June 16 in the Stockyards District, the area surrounding the Livestock Exchange Building at 1600 Genessee St. in the West Bottoms.
Boulevardia moved to the Stockyards District in 2017, after spending three years a few blocks north around the multilevel 12th Street Viaduct. The festival typically features craft beer tastings, live music, a shopping area with wares from local companies, carnival rides, food trucks, bike rides and eco-education booths.

Info on 2018’s festival — including ticket prices, special events and the music lineup — has yet to be released. But Boulevardia organizers said in a press release that it will bring back Taps & Tastes, a popular beer-tasting event. Participating breweries haven’t been revealed yet, but obviously Boulevard Brewing Co. will be there sampling brews.
If you attended Boulevardia in 2017, don’t forget your unused beer tokens — they can be redeemed at next year’s fest.
