Parkwood at Stoney Creek is located south of Missouri 150 highway and just west of Ward Road. Its newest phase is now available, featuring oversized lots, two pools, nature trails, a play area and trash service. The community is served by the Lee’s Summit R-7 School District.
A number of homes are available in Stoney Creek. Three are complete and available for immediate move-in. Two priced are in the upper $200,000s and one in the lower $300,000s. One is nearing completion, priced in the low $300,000s and eight more are under construction, priced in the upper $200,000s to the mid $300,000s. There is still time to make personal selections, so now is the time to buy.
When asked why they chose to live in Stoney Creek, new homeowner Callie Johnson noted that she and her husband liked the community because of its central location and that they chose it because of the people in the community.
“We drove around the community and everyone that we saw waved,” she said. “You saw them outside playing with their children. It’s very family oriented.”
According to Johnson, the price was right, too. The price of the home on the lot they wanted “was just unbeatable. It was unmatched. It really was,” Johnson said.
Johnson also spoke a great deal about Summit’s Green Build Advantage. “We have very bad allergies and we looked at some of the homes on the Parade of the Homes. When we went into Summit’s homes, you could just tell that the air quality was better. It really brought it home about how different Summit Custom Homes is. Mill Creek of Summit Mill is east of Todd George Road on the south side of Langsford Road. The single entrance eliminates through-traffic, making the streets safe for walking and biking. The community is one block from Deer Valley Park and minutes from the 700-acre Legacy Park.

The other completed homes are a Pebblebrook and a Windsor Hills, both of which are two-story, four-bedroom, 21/2-bathroom plans with a three-car garage. The Pebblebrook is about 2,286 square feet and the Windsor Hills is about 2,200 square feet.
