Several new homes are nearing completion in Cedar Ridge Park in Olathe, the Rodrock Development community at 165th Street and Ridgeview Road. Homes in Cedar Ridge Park feature four to five bedrooms, 21/2 to four bathrooms and three-car garages. Home prices range from the low to mid-$300,000s.
The new homes include successful, proven plans, and plans that are new to Cedar Ridge Park. One plan is being built for the first time anywhere. Some of the homes are going up in Cedar Ridge Park’s recently opened phase of 40 new level, daylight, walkout and cul-de-sac home sites.
“Five homes are move-in ready within 30 days,” said developer Darol Rodrock. “Another six homes are just coming out of the ground, and can be ready in time for the holidays.”
Four builders are introducing plans new to Cedar Ridge Park. Chris George Homes and Hilmann Home Building are each offering new reverse 11/2-story plans. Higgins Building Company and Gabriel Homes are each bringing new two-story plans.

All of the new homes feature open concept first-floor layouts, well-appointed kitchens with granite counters and generous pantries, hardwoods, energy-efficiency features and are equipped to accommodate lower-level expansion as owner needs change, with 9-foot foundation walls and plumbing for a three-quarter or full bathroom already stubbed in.
Depending on the plan, homes may also feature a first-floor office or fifth bedroom plus a flex room, formal dining room with built-in butler’s pantry, large master suite with sitting room or adjacent laundry room, large Euro-style walk-in showers, tiled bathroom floors, large secondary bedrooms, a true library, a covered cedar deck or porch.
