Benson Place Fieldstone remains a top-selling new home community in the Northland and it is no surprise. With a number of home sites in the latest phase backing to trees and green space, community manager and Reece & Nichols agent Aimee Miller says homes have been selling quickly.
“I knew that phase four would be popular,” said Miller, who’s marketed the community for the last 10 years. “Over half of the home sites were reserved by homebuyers or purchased by builders within the first couple hours of opening. These are the most beautiful lots available in the Northland.”
Phase four of Benson Place Fieldstone opened in January and the builder team has been busy building five new model homes and a variety of speculative homes, many of which are now for sale.
Model homes by Aspen Homes, McFarland Custom Builders, Robertson Construction, SAB Homes and Summit Custom Homes will be finished and fully furnished in time for the Home Builders Association of Greater Kansas City’s Fall Parade of Homes that starts Sept. 27.

Two homes are currently complete and available to tour while 22 others are under construction. Completed homes include a reverse 11/2-story plan by Robertson Construction and a reverse 11/2-story plan by McFarland Custom Builders.
“Now is a great time to take advantage of the hot resale market,” advised Miller. “For new-home buyers, selling their existing home used to be an obstacle. Continually low interest rates and increasing home values have made selling your current home much easier.”
Benson Place is a mixed-use community on Northeast 96th Street between Interstate 435 and Northeast Flintlock Road that includes townhomes, single-family homes and villas. The community also includes a daycare center and Benton House of Shoal Creek, a senior-living community developed by Hunt Midwest Residential. When completed, Benson Place will have 1,300 homes.
Construction on the second community pool, also in phase four, will commence in early summer with expected completion in 2015. It is an addition to an extensive list of amenities that already includes a swimming pool and recreation area, children’s splash park, walking trails, playground, 40-plus acres of parkland and nature areas, five-acre lake and generously landscaped entrance monuments.
Benson Place has a Kansas City address but is in the Liberty School District. Students attend Shoal Creek Elementary School, South Valley Middle School, South Valley Junior High School and Liberty North High School.
