“We are thrilled with all of the excitement and activity happening around the creation of this unique community in Meadowbrook Park,” said Dave Harrison, president of VanTrust Real Estate, LLC. “Construction is underway on single family homes and the twin villas, and we are planning an upcoming celebration with our homeowners. Our residents are looking forward to being part of this tight-knit community.”
The single family homes will be designed and built for exclusive, upscale living, with quality craftsmanship and the highest attention to detail. Located in the gated Reserve neighborhood at Meadowbrook Park, these homes offer the utmost in privacy as well as maintenance-provided services. Buyers of the single family home lots can choose from one of four exclusive builders which include Holthaus Building, Inc., RM Standard Construction, Ambassador Construction Company, Inc. and Lambie Custom Homes. Tom French Construction is the exclusive builder of the twin villas residences, located in the Parkside neighborhood and The Reserve.
“We are honored to be one of the exclusive builders for Meadowbrook Park,” said Keith Eymann, owner of Ambassador Construction along with his brother, Craig. “Our team brings more than 40 years of experience in the Kansas City custom home market, providing homeowners with a personalized, hands-on design experience that translates lifestyles and dreams into reality. It’s a privilege to have the opportunity to do this at Meadowbrook Park.”
With reservations currently being accepted, buyers may choose from 53 single-family lots and 70 twin villa lots. In addition to approximately 3.75 miles of walking trails, residents will enjoy the serene setting of the 84-acre park, three stocked lakes and mature trees that have been preserved as part of the Master Plan. Thoughtfully-designed courtyards and parklettes will be featured throughout Parkside and Reserve neighborhoods, incorporating green spaces throughout.
All residences in Meadowbrook Park include full maintenance. In addition to the 84-acre park, the amenities are vast and include a private community pool located in the Reserve neighborhood for all Reserve and Parkside neighborhood residents to enjoy.
As builders continue taking reservations for single family lots, Tom French is also keeping busy with construction of the twin villa townhomes. With a longstanding reputation as one of Kansas City’s most respected homebuilders, Tom French Homes offers award-winning designs and quality craftsmanship to develop communities for every lifestyle. “We have been designing and building custom homes and maintenance-provided communities in the Kansas City area since 1978. It’s a truly rewarding experience to be involved in the development of Meadowbrook Park and creating this community.”
In addition to lot reservations and construction, park improvements are beginning to take shape. The three stocked lakes have been completed, and will feature rock walls and wooden bridges, offering a serene setting.
“We are incredibly excited about this project and what it will bring to Johnson County and the surrounding community,” said Jeff Stewart, Deputy Director for Johnson County Park & Recreation District. “The park will feature wonderful amenities for residents and visitors, and we’ve been working closely with VanTrust and the City of Prairie Village to bring this to life.” Features at the park include a community activity building overlooking the grand lawn, a destination playground, pavilion, picnic shelters, outdoor exercise equipment and 3.75 miles of trails weaving throughout the park. The park is expected to open to the public in the spring of 2018.
In addition to the park opening next spring, The Kessler apartments will be completed and construction on the boutique inn will be underway. VanTrust Real Estate also recently announced Dial Retirement Communities as the developer for the senior living component on 8.5 acres of the site. Dial Retirement Communities will initially build 146 units, in a combination of assisted living, independent-living apartments and rehabilitation units at Meadowbrook Park.
