Rodrock Development has taken part in the Spring Parade of Homes since 1983 and is incredibly proud to have 34 years of consecutive wins. Three homes total — in Stonebridge Park, Stonebridge Meadows, and Arbor Lake — were praised for outstanding home design and architecture. Each offers a standout floor plan, the finest in finishes, and all the amenities and benefits of being located in a Rodrock community.
Among the winners were two Silver American Dream Awards, both given to Robert A Washam Construction for its Addilyn II in Stonebridge Meadows and its Riley III in Arbor Lake. And a top Gold American Dream Award was granted to Dusselier & Marks Homes’ Austin floor plan in Stonebridge Park.
The win was welcome news to the community managers in Stonebridge Park. While Parade traffic has been terrific in the neighborhood, the managers are sure the win will warrant even more visits this weekend.
“The Austin is absolutely beautiful, the minute you walk in,” exclaims Julie Parman. “It has all the latest trends, colors, and charm Parade-goers are looking for. The living and kitchen areas are full of windows and a large slider that brings in tons of light.”
The house is a larger version of D&M’s popular Marietta III, and the community has received a lot of positive feedback on this house — and all of its Parade entries.
“D&M is very deserving of the Gold Award,” Julie continues. “Leonard Marks and Don Dusselier are wonderful to work with, and we have had great success with them in Stonebridge Park. We look forward to many more sales of D&M homes in our neighborhood.”
Traffic has likewise been brisk in Arbor Lake, with community managers reporting some 35 groups on Saturday and 55 on Sunday during the first weekend of the Parade alone. Now that the community is home to a Silver American Dream award winner, even those impressive numbers are likely to increase.
“It’s an honor and a pleasure to work with Rob Washam, who’s so meticulous in detail and takes pride in how he constructs and finishes his homes,” says Debi Donner. “The Riley III is a 2 story with a 3-car garage, 5 bedrooms, and 4 bathrooms. The lower level is remarkably open and full of potential for entertaining, whether it be in the Great Room, formal dining room, around the large kitchen island, or out on the deck/patio.”
The master suite is not only romantic — with an oversized freestanding tub and his-and-her vanities — but also functional with a large master closet along with the laundry room, accessible to all rooms on the second level.
“Rob follows that through by having not only a one-year builder warranty but also an HBW 2-10 home warranty on his homes,” Debi adds. “This ensures new homeowners feel secure knowing their builder stands behind his homes and will be there long after closing.”
Stonebridge Meadows is likewise thrilled to have another winner join its ranks. “Given the surge in home values and the uncertainty of available resale inventory, homes in Rodrock communities offer a great opportunity to move right into a beautiful new home,” says community manager Mike Slaven. “In Stonebridge Meadows alone, there are more than 25 homes available in various stages of construction!”
Among them is the award-winning Addilyn II, which Mike describes as a “definite must-see.”
“The kitchen is just incredible! We’re talking a fantastic layout and custom cabinets with counter space that’s often lacking in homes of this price range. The master suite has an amazing, spa-like master bath, which includes separate vanities, a walk-in shower, freestanding soaker tub, sumptuous heated tile floors, and additional linen storage.”
“Robyn and I are so pleased that Washam won this award,” Mike continues. “His team worked so hard to create this stunning model home.
Such fantastic wins aside, this year’s Spring Parade was a huge success with 9 communities showcasing an incredible 34 models. The homes—ranging from single-family homes to maintenance-provided villas—showcased the finest in new homebuilding and design.
This is truly an ideal time to explore the very best Rodrock Development has to offer. But you need to hurry! Today is the last day of the Parade, and the gorgeous homes in Arbor Lake, Greens of Chapel Creek, Cottages at Woodridge, Grayson Place, Forest View, Arbor Woods, Stonebridge Meadows, Stonebridge Trails, and Stonebridge Park aren’t likely to last!
