The big game is happening! The Kansas City Chiefs are back for Super Bowl LIX in a showdown against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday, Feb. 9. Patrick Mahomes and the rest of the team are the defending Super Bowl champions, and this marks the seventh time the Chiefs have been to the Super Bowl and the team\u2019s third appearance in a row.<\/p>

This year also marks the sixth time the Philadelphia Eagles have been to the Super Bowl. They battled the Chiefs two years ago. In the last face-off, the Eagles lost 38-35. The Eagles\u2019 only Super Bowl win was back in 2018 in the game against the New England Patriots.<\/p>

Kendrick Lamar will be performing the halftime show with special guest SZA. Lamar\u2019s Super Bowl LIX performance comes right after his 2025 Grammy wins for song of the year \u201cNot Like Us\u201d and record of the year.<\/p>

When is the 2025 Super Bowl LIX game?<\/strong><\/h3>

Kickoff for Super Bowl LIX with the Chiefs vs. Bills is set for 6:30 p.m. EST, on Sunday, Feb. 9. <\/p>

How can I watch the Chiefs vs. Eagles for free?<\/strong><\/h3>

The Super Bowl LIX game will be shown live on Fox, so if you\u2019re in the KC area, you can tune to channel 4. <\/p>

You can also watch the Chiefs for free on Tubi<\/a>, a Fox-owned free streaming service that will broadcast in 4K. Tubi will also show the entire pregame show, which begins at 3:30 EST, and the halftime show for free. The pregame red carpet event will be hosted by Olivia Culpo.
