Kaitlyn who? Kansas City’s Tanner Tolbert is moving on with the ladies from “Bachelor in Paradise.”
Tolbert, 28, is now one of the stars of “Bachelor in Paradise,” which premiered Sunday. The show, filmed in Mexico, features former “Bachelor” and “Bachelorette” contestants who are looking for a second chance at love...or 15 minutes of fame. It airs at 7 p.m. Sundays and Mondays.
On “The Bachelorette,” Tolbert mostly flew under the radar and was known for his quippy one liners. But it seems he might have a bigger role on “Bachelor in Paradise.”
In Sunday’s episode, Tanner hit it off with Jade, the contestant from Chris Soules’ season who revealed she had posed for Playboy. Although a majority of the male contestants were interested in her, Jade decided to choose Tolbert for an intimate dinner date. And things definitely got intimate.

Tolbert admitted that his feelings for Jade after one date are much stronger than the feelings he had for Kaitlyn all last season.
In an interview Friday, Tolbert said his decision to go on “Paradise” wasn’t necessarily about looking for a relationship. It was a chance to have fun.
“It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and by that point I warmed up to cameras being in my face,” Tolbert said. “I never thought I was going to have that much fun.”
For those who weren’t able to catch the premiere of “Bachelor in Paradise,” The Star’s got you covered. Below are highlights of Tolbert and his steamy date with Jade.
