Review: Kid Rock

An audience of about 13,000 heard Rock ratchet down the volume and increase the subtleties of his extensive repertoire during a 140-minute performance. While he became a star in the late 1990s by trafficking a profane blend of heavy metal, country and hip-hop, Rock, 42, has become a progressively more refined artist.
