Two of the biggest names in music are coming to Kansas City this summer. Together.
On May 14 Canadian-born rap-pop superstar Drake (born Aubrey Graham) confirmed that he would be going on tour with Migos, rap's most popular group, as part of the "Aubrey and the Three Amigos" tour.
The 41-date North American tour begins in Salt Lake City on July 26 and will run through November.
The tour will stop at the Sprint Center on July 31.
Pre-sale tickets will be made available exclusively to American Express card holders at 10 a.m. May 15 through 10 p.m. May 17. General public tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. on May 18.
Drake's stop in Kansas City will come a month after the scheduled June 28 release of his fifth studio album, "Scorpion." The album's first two singles, "God's Plan" and "Nice For What," have each been certified platinum and topped the Billboard singles chart.
In January, Migos — an Atlanta rap trio consisting of members Quavo, Offset and Takeoff — released their second album, "Culture II," which debuted atop the Billboard albums chart.
The tour highlights the years-long relationship between the two musical acts. In 2013, it was the Drake-assisted track "Versace" from Migos' "YRN" mixtape that catapulted the group from obscurity into the national spotlight.
