Hollywood pundits are chattering about which nominee will win the Academy Award for best picture, but we have other movie issues on our minds:

Like what was the best performance by a Kansas Citian? Paul Rudd became a superhero in “Ant-Man,” but Jason Sudeikis got charming in “Sleeping With Other People.” And did you notice how many movies featured bears? Ted got a sequel, Paddington got a starring role, and a CGI grizzly nearly stole the show in “The Revenant.”

Frontiersman Hugh Glass (played by Leonard DiCaprio) is on a quest for survival after being brutally mauled by a bear. The film won three Golden Globes awards including Best Motion Picture - Drama.
