Kate Sweeten used her #InkTakeover as an excuse to get out and explore Kansas City.
Sweeten, executive director of the Downtown Overland Park Partnership, snapped vivid images of flowers at the Overland Park Farmers Market, Spanish-inspired architecture on the Country Club Plaza and a slumbering lion at the Kansas City Zoo.
We drooled over her photos of food and drinks — picture crinkle-cut potato chips at Ollie’s Local, a juicy steak at Anton’s Taproom and an ice-cold bottle of Boulevard Single-Wide IPA on the patio at Harry’s Bar and Tables.
You can see all the photos, plus a cool video Sweeten captured while cruising in a Kansas City streetcar, on Ink’s Instagram (@inkkcmag).

Donut underestimate Ruby Montoya, who will be Ink’s next guest Instagrammer. (Feel free to gong that pun.) Give her a follow over at @rubym23, and keep up with what she shares on @inkkcmag over the next week. Enjoy, Ruby.
