Bill Bronec’s philosophy on love and life is simple.
“I want to make other people happy,” he says. “I’m good at making people happy.”
The 23-year-old native Chicagoan has made a career out of it: He has a degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism management from the University of Wisconsin-Stout.
“This is the first and only time you will ever hear of this college, so don’t worry if you’ve never heard of it before,” he joked via email.
Ten months ago Bronec made a career move that brought him to downtown Kansas City and broke up a nine-month relationship.
“It hurts sometimes, but I wanted to progress my career.” he says. “I moved here on two weeks’ notice.”
The front desk manager at the Westin Crown Center says he’s ready to explore his new surroundings.
Kansas City is his oyster and he wants to shuck it with a lucky lady — no jive.
He made a promise to himself to experience every great restaurant and the best places to get a drink.
“I want to know everything this city has to offer, so I spend most of my free time exploring,” he says. “I want someone who wants to explore — who’s adventurous and wants to spend time with me.”
“If you can put up with me — understand my sarcasm — even better.”
Bronec admits that he might be “too sarcastic for my own good.”
His dry sense of humor, coupled with his 6-foot-2 frame and serious face make him hard to read in person, and online he hasn’t had the best luck either.
On Tinder, Bronec boasts that he is “Polite as f$#k” and that his “Uber passenger rating is 4.92 stars ... just saying.”
It’s led to a few dates, but he’s looking for something serious. But not too serious.
“At this moment I don’t want kids at all,” he says. “I love my money. I love freedom and doing whatever I want.”
He’s a fan of wining, dining, movies and sports. The former college football player and cheerleader is a die-hard fan of the Blackhawks, Bears, Bulls and White Sox. He says the NFL draft is one of his three favorite days of the year.
Speaking of football, he’s got a great story about the time he used a magic trick to anger Minnesota Viking Michael Griffin.
Yes, Bronec does magic. “So you know, I’m cool,” he says.
Bronec says he’s simply trying to live his best life; having someone to experience it with would make him happy. If any of this sounds like something that’ll make you happy — cocktails, dinners, movies, sports, magic tricks — he’d like to hear from you. Find Bill on Facebook: www.facebook.com/bronec.
