Mallory and Matthew Walker met in a truly modern way: through mutual friends on Twitter. After flirting in 140 characters, the Walkers took it analog. One of their first dates was at Fiorella’s Jack Stack Barbecue on the Country Club Plaza, and, three years later, Matthew proposed after a dinner at that same restaurant.
The Walkers (Mallory, 29, and Matthew, 31) made it official at a peacock-themed wedding with “Drunk in Love” favors. Mallory says making what decorations they could was a good way to save money, but the key to having an amazing wedding and reception? Take a break from all that crafting and “relax the day before,” she said.
