How do we know that a lot of people on Thursday saw President Obama’s new video promoting HealthCare.gov? Because #thanksObama started trending on Twitter.

In the new Buzzfeed parody video – watch it by clicking here – the president uses a selfie stick, makes funny faces in the mirror and doodles a picture of the First Lady, all to remind people that Feb. 15 is the deadline to enroll at HealthCare.gov.

The video is called “Things Everybody Does But Doesn't Talk About,” which would include shooting imaginary hoops when no one is looking.

And when the president tries to dunk a cookie into a glass of milk but it doesn’t fit, he mutters, “thanks Obama.”

(That scene prompted Reddit users to wonder how other world leaders would react to a cookie situation.)

If you don’t know what the president means when he says, “YOLO, man” at the end, no worries. You’re probably not his target audience.
