According to gossip site TMZ, Ricardo Medina Jr., formerly known as the red Power Ranger, was arrested Saturday in Los Angeles after allegedly stabbing his roommate with a sword.

Reports say Medina “retreated to his bedroom with his girlfriend,” after getting into a fight with his roommate. The roommate forced his way into the bedroom before Medina allegedly stabbed the roommate with a sword, TMZ reports.

The roommate, 36-year-old Joshua Sutter, was taken to a hospital where his injuries turned fatal.

“He is a great friend and a great client. It's something I can't even conceive,” Gar Lester, Medina’s former agent, told KABC. “I don't see that in him. He was a very helpful guy and great with his dog. It's such a shock.”

According to KABC, Medina called 911 to report the stabbing at his home. He is being held at the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station on $1 million bond.

Medina first starred in “Power Rangers Wild Force” in 2002, as well as the TV series “Power Rangers Samurai” in 2011 and 2012.
