“Harry Potter” star Robbie Coltrane has been hospitalized after getting sick Thursday on a flight from London to Orlando, according to TMZ.

A representative for Coltrane told the website that Coltrane fell ill with severe flu-like symptoms on a British Airways plane. Paramedics reportedly met him at the gate and rushed him to the hospital.

Coltrane, who played Hagrid in the “Harry Potter” movies, was said to be on his way to a Harry Potter convention in Orlando.

Michael Gambon, who played Dumbledore, was reportedly on the same flight.

Coltrane was expected to remain in the hospital overnight.

At least two Twitter users spread a rumor that Coltrane had been spotted drunk in the British Airways lounge.

Tweeted ‏@Mattbowes80: “My pal has just seen Robbie Coltrane absolutely hammered in the airport lounge at this time, legend.”
