The folks who were lucky enough to attend Big Slick Celebrity Weekend’s sold-out auction last Saturday were treated to the vocal stylings of host Jason Sudeikis and guest Will Forte belting out “Can’t Fight This Feeling.”
But on Thursday night, the rest of the world got to see and hear their heartfelt harmonies as they reprised the REO Speedwagon ballad on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Earlier in the show, Forte told Fallon how wonderful it was to be a part of Big Slick, which raised a record $1.3 million for the Cancer Center at Children’s Mercy. Sudeikis hosts the annual fundraiser in Kansas City along with Paul Rudd and Rob Riggle (all three grew up in Overland Park), Eric Stonestreet of KCK and David Koechner of Tipton, Mo. They invited a horde of celebrity guests to join them for softball at Kauffman Stadium, a red carpet walk and bowling at Pinstripes and the auction at Arvest Bank Theatre at the Midland downtown.
