Fashion fans had a moment Tuesday night when one of them recognized the gray tweed skirt suit that Michelle Obama wore to the State of the Union speech as one that “The Good Wife” wore last season.

Twitter users posted side-by-side photos of Obama and Julianna Margulies' character Alicia Florrick on the CBS drama wearing the same Michael Kors outfit.

ABC News rushed to report on this all-important political story, pointing out that the Kors Origami Collar Tweed jacket is sold out at Nordstrom – darn the luck – but that Neiman Marcus still has it, at $797, reduced from nearly $1,600.

London’s Daily Mail, which played up the story on its website Tuesday night, made special note of the fact that Margulies’ character is the wife of a disgraced politician.

But we digress. There was a speech given Tuesday night, right?
