Spanish police are looking for a man who took a dangerous selfie last week during the running of the bulls in Pamplona.

The man was seen taking a picture of himself with his cell phone as three bulls charged up on him.

One misstep and the man could have been trampled, or worse.

On Monday, one of six bulls that broke away from the pack chased down and gored two men in their legs, lifting them right off the ground, in the last run of the festival, European media reported.

Local authorities passed a bylaw this year to clamp down on people using filming devices during the annual run at the San Fermin Festival.

Three people, all British citizens, have been fined so far, reported the Spanish news website The Local. One dude reportedly tried to film the bull run with a drone.

If Mr. Selfie is caught he could face a fine of thousands of dollars.

The Local reported that Spanish public TV filmed him taking the selfie.

Pictures of the man circulated on Spanish social media with a hashtag that means “the idiot with the mobile.”
