“Ideals are peaceful, history is violent,” says the hardened warrior. And things get downright violent – and muddy and bloody and loud – in Brad Pitt’s upcoming World War II thriller, “Fury.”
The first trailer for the movie shows Pitt as Wardaddy, the leader of a five-man crew operating a Sherman tank facing an impossible task: Defeat 300 Nazis standing between American troops and success in Germany.

“We’ve never backed down before,” Wardaddy tells his men the night before the big battle.

At his side: Shia LaBeouf, Michael Pena and Jon Bernthal (“The Walking Dead”).
Director David Ayer’s movie is scheduled to hit theaters on November 14.
“Wait till you see what a man can do to another man,” LaBeouf warns the new recruit.
