Actor Paul Rudd has a Super Bowl commercial for Bud Light. Rapper Tech N9ne is repping for Sporting KC during the first half of the game. And now KCK’s Janelle Monae will have a huge spotlight in an ad for Pepsi.

Monae finds her groove in a spot set to air right before the halftime show, which is also sponsored by the cola company. Monae, whose classy style surpasses any pigeonholes, dances her way from the 1960s and the Contours’ “Do You Love Me (Now That I Can Dance)” to a 1980s dance party with Madonna’s “Express Yourself” and on through a modern take on Pepsi’s “Joy of Cola” jingle.

Monae is a hot icon for advertisers right now, most notably for Cover Girl. Watch her latest commerical below:
