Didn’t we just see former “Bachelorette” Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray – brother of Chiefs QB Aaron Murray – all lovey-dovey on the red carpet Monday night?
And now they’re splitsville?
What did we miss?
“After several months of being engaged and working on our relationship, we have decided that it's best for both of us to go our separate ways,” the couple said in a joint statement on Thursday.

“We are very sad that it has come to this point, but this is what's best for both of us individually. We will continue to be good friends and have nothing but great things to say about each other and wish each other the best.”
Dorfman and Murray appeared on a special live event Monday before the season 19 premiere of “The Bachelor.”
(If you want to sully yourself with rumors of bad blood between the Murray family and Dorfman, read Celebrity Dirty Laundry’s take last October.)
Maybe Dorfman was trying to tip her hand when she told People magazine that their wedding plans were on hold.
“I think now that all of this is starting again, it’s time to take a little break and make a little home in Atlanta and figure it out there,” she told People.
“I would definitely have some of the girls from my season in my wedding, at my wedding. There’s definitely some girls that I’ve kept in good contact with — they’re some of my best friends.”
Wedding? What the heck happened between Monday and today?
Dorfman chose Murray over bachelor Nick Viall on last season’s “The Bachelorette.”
So naturally people are wondering what Viall has to say about this latest turn of events.
“I was surprised. I feel for them. Heartbreak is tough for anyone, whether you're engaged or not. It stinks,” Viall told E! News.
Lots of people have asked if he now feels vindicated in any way, “but the answer is no,” he said. “I don't hold any ill will against either of them. I've moved on with my life.”
And no, he won’t be asking Dorfman out now.
“What happened with Andi is in my past and it's going to stay there. I moved on. I don't want to move backwards,” said Viall, wisely.
Maybe Dorfman will make a trip to KC to see her BFF, Nikki Ferrell, who was reportedly all set to serve as a bridesmaid. The two competed against each other for “Bachelor” Juan Pablo Galavis and now have a lot in common.
Ferrell broke up with Galavis, too.
