Welcome to the big screen, “Game of Thrones.”

HBO and IMAX are bringing two episodes of the hit TV show, and a trailer for the new season, to theaters this month.

This is a historic first for IMAX, which has never before aired a TV show on its gigantic screens, according to HBO.

The final two episodes of the show’s fourth season – “The Watchers on the Wall” and the finale, “The Children” – have been digitally remastered to fit the IMAX format.

The shows and a newly created trailer for season five, which is expected to debut in April, will be shown in more than 150 IMAX theaters from Jan. 23-29.

Tickets and more information will be available in the next few days at Imaxcom.
