It turns out Netflix is good for more than binge-watching, obscure documentaries and fake fireplaces. It’s good for pulling one over your kids, too.

If you’re spending New Year’s Eve with the little ones this year, let them think they can stay up until midnight.

Just know you’ll have the upper hand, thanks to a fake countdown Netflix created.

An animated lemur named King Julien hosts the on-demand service, which is three minutes long and can be streamed at any time.

King Julien is part of Netflix’s series “All Hail King Julien,” a show aimed at a much younger audience than “House of Cards.”

So put those babies to bed, pop some champagne and bring in the New Year the only way parents should — in peace and quiet.
