In the scene that everyone is already talking about, Eminem comes out as gay in “The Interview.” Remember – it’s a movie, people.

In a funny cameo, the rapper sits down for an interview with the TV show host played by James Franco. Things quickly go off the rails when Eminem off-handedly reveals that he is gay.

“When I say things about gay people, or people think my lyrics are homophobic – it’s because I’m gay,” he tells Franco's character.

Later, Eminem ads: “I’m more shocked that people haven’t figured it out yet. I mean, it’s kind of like I’ve been playing gay peek-a-boo.”

While Franco dissolves into an over-the-top display of shock, Eminem steals the scene by sitting cool and calm.

MTV, which has interviewed Eminem, in real life, about using homophobic lyrics in his work, proclaims that this “may be the film’s most shocking moment.”
