TMZ is reporting that Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas are divorcing after 18 years of marriage, bringing an end to that rarest of creatures, the long-lasting Hollywood marriage.

The website reports that Griffith, 56, who filed the legal documents, cites irreconcilable differences. Sources tell TMZ the split is amicable.

The couple met on the set of the 1995 movie, “Two Much.” Rumors of marital problems have dogged them for several months.

The “Working Girl” actress reportedly wants child support and sole physical and joint legal custody of their only child together, Stella, who turns 18 later this year.

This will be Griffith’s fourth divorce and a second for the 53-year-old Banderas.
