If you’re an ‘Instagram Husband,’ you are not alone

“We take so long to get anywhere, because we’re taking pictures of our feet,” Jeff, an “Instagram Husband,” said in a new satirical PSA.

Those effortless-looking Instagram pictures you see of fashionable women are not-so-effortless.

At least, not for their husbands.

Because according to these men, “behind every cute girl on Instagram is a guy... and a brick wall.”

And that’s just one of the hilarious sound bites from a new video titled “Instagram Husband.”

The satirical PSA, created by Springfield-based The Mystery Hour, details the lengths husbands are forced to go to to snap the perfect pic of their wives. After just a day on YouTube, it has more than 1 million views.

“I’ve had to delete all the apps on my phone just to make more room for more photos,” Trey, a self-described Instagram Husband says.

“I’m basically a human selfie stick.”

The Mystery Hour is a late-night talk show that airs Saturdays at 9 p.m. on FOX-KRBK.

The staff behind the show even created a website for the poor fellows behind the iPhone camera.

“We take so long to get anywhere, because we’re taking pictures of our feet,” another husband says.

Take the advice of the creators behind “Instagram Husband”: Put down your wife’s phone, and come near for healing.
