The new kid on the block in Beverly Hills is Markus “Notch” Persson, who sold his company, Mojang, creator of Minecraft, to Microsoft for $2.5 billion in September.

He can “notch” up another huge score this week. He just bought a $70 million megamansion in Beverly Hills, reportedly beating out Beyonce and Jay-Z in a bidding war for the house.

The 35-year-old Swedish video game designer can now live in a 23,000-square-foot wonderland that features a candy room, vodka and tequila bars, an 18-foot onyx dining room table, an automated 54-foot curved glass door that opens onto an infinity pool, eight bedrooms and 15 bathrooms.

Cases of Dom Perignon were part of the deal, too.

Mega sleepover!
