Dontarius Jamel Young is a team leader at the Oak Park Chick-fil-A in Overland Park, but a recent video of him shows he’s much more than that.
He’s also an incredible singer.
Young performed a rendition of “God Bless the USA” at the area fast food restaurant on Veteran’s Day for customers.
A young woman named Frances West posted a video of Young’s performance, and the video went viral.

“Wow! I am truly overwhelmed!” Young wrote on his Facebook page. “I have always been very patriotic and have always loved to sing! The fact that God's favor is being shown to me and in such an apparent way, literally leaves me speechless! 1,000,000 views! Thank you all so much! Im so excited to see what is in store and I am very grateful to have been blessed with so many beautiful and loving people in my life! It's only up from here, I still believe!!!”
The video of Young singing has continued to garner attention, with more than 14 million views on Sunday.
“Makes me wish I lived in Kansas so I could come listen!!!” one commenter wrote on Chick-fil-A’s Facebook page.
It turns out this wasn’t Young’s first work performance. He sang at the local Chick-fil-A on Memorial Day and the Fourth of July.
He will also be singing in December for Christmas, the restaurant said, although a date has not been scheduled.
Forget the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. We’ll be heading to Chick-fil-A this winter for our holiday concert.
