How sweet is this?
George Clooney visited a sandwich shop in Edinburgh on Thursday because he was impressed with its mission. Social Bite calls itself a “Social Business” and donates 100 percent of its profits to “good causes,” according to its website. In addition, it employs formerly homeless people.
So the 54-year-old actor paid a visit to the shop, saying “I like what they’re doing, I think it’s a very important cause. I think the idea that we can all participate in everyone’s difficulties is really important.”
He met the adoring crowds awaiting his arrival with grace, at one point holding off a reporter to spend time greeting fans and signing autographs.

He even showed concern for the people waiting in the cold. Watch how excited fans are to get photos with him.
The cuteness then moved inside the sandwich shop.
The Associated Press reports that Clooney paid 5 pounds, and about $1,000, to buy meals for the needy. He sampled some sandwiches and some cake. Clooney was invited to the cafe by its co-founder Josh Littlejohn, who also set up the Scottish Business Awards, which the actor will attend later Thursday.
He was also in Edinburgh for another reason, the AP reports: A dinner date with 32-year-old wedding planner Heather McGowan, who won a competition to dine with the star.
