If there’s one rule to follow in a World Series champagne celebration, it’s this: You can’t be dry.

Unfortunately for Paul Rudd, famous actor and KC native, he violated that rule Sunday.

So naturally, Royals third baseman Mike Moustakas had to help him out.

“Hey, hold on, hold on, he’s way too dry,” Moustakas said, goggles shielding his eyes, as he spotted Rudd.

“I’m way too dry!” Rudd said, as he prepared for the downpour.

“Get you some, Rudd!” someone shouted in the background.

Later, Rudd told MLB Network he had “no business” being in the Royals’ clubhouse celebration.

“I couldn’t believe I weasled my way in,” Rudd said. “It was really thrilling.”

We can only imagine.
