Relive “Back to the Future” day! Again!

On “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Wednesday night, the movie’s characters Marty McFly and Doc Brown — aka Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd — made a dramatic appearance via their Delorean time machine.

In a 10-minute conversation, Kimmel showed the time travelers just how much things have and have not changed in 30 years.

No flying cars. No hover boards.

“Did you achieve peace in the Middle East?” McFly asks.

“Oh no, no, no,” Kimmel guffaws.

But he does tell them about smartphones, and how “most people will probably watch us on the phones on the toilet tomorrow.”

“That’s gross,” McFly says.

“It’s better than it sounds,” Kimmel says.

In the middle of it all, Huey Lewis makes an appearance.

Eventually, it leads McFly to wonder: “What the hell you guys been doing for 30 years?”

Cronuts, apparently.

Not to be left out, USA Today printed a special edition of the Oct. 22, 1985 front page that appeared in “Back to the Future 2.” But HitFix.com notes that one important update was made: This headline, “Washington prepares for Queen Diana's visit,” was changed to something about 3D billboards, a very real 2015 news story.
