Kansas City-born ballerina Misty Copeland is a certified superstar.

She was the first African American ballerina to be promoted to a principal dancer by the American Ballet Theatre, and even has her own documentary hitting theaters this weekend.

So it’s not unlikely that up-and-coming dancers would seek her expertise and advice.

But late night talk show hosts? That’s another story.

Nonetheless, Copeland offered her tips to Jimmy Kimmel and his sidekick, Guillermo, in a bit for “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

Cue the too-tight tutus and loads of laughs.

“It took 47 years and a hell of a lot of soul searching but today I finally discovered that my passion is ballet,” Kimmel said.

We’re guessing Copeland would suggest he go in a different direction. But her first reaction when meeting Kimmel?

“Oh my God, your legs are really hairy,” Copeland said.

Later, she gave him some props for his physique.

“You actually have really gorgeous legs,” Copeland told Kimmel.

“When Misty complimented my legs, I was very flattered,” Kimmel said.

Later, Kimmel and Guillermo joined Copeland on stage for a full-on performance.

And after seeing the show, well, let’s just say they tried.

You be the judge.
