“Thor” star Chris Hemsworth just scored some big “bragging rights around the house” in being named People magazine’s “Sexiest Man Alive” for 2014.

The 31-year-old Aussie actor, who is married to actress Elsa Pataky, joked to the magazine that he fully intends to use the honor to get out of chores.

“I can just say ... 'Now remember, this is what the people think, so I don't need to do the dishes anymore, I don't need to change nappies. I'm above that. I've made it now,’” he joked.

Hemsworth topped a list of beefcake that includes “Parks and Recreation” and “Guardians of the Galaxy” star Chris Pratt, “Fifty Shades of Grey” leading man Jamie Dornan, “Maze Runner” actor Ki Hong Lee, Matt Bomer, Bradley Cooper, Scott Foley, Michael Strahan, Blake Shelton and Tim Tebow.

British actor-turned-model Eddie Redmayne made the list, too. His reaction was the best.

“I think you've made a wild mistake," the 32-year-old told the mag. “I have three brothers and a sister and so I've been continually teased all my life. I'm sure this will merely encourage more. Thank you People for giving them more fodder."
